Swiss artist Renate Rabus was born in Niedergösgen in 1950. Embroidery has always been a passion of hers, and she has produced a diverse collection of textile works over the years. She is inspired by the magnificent diversity of nature, the multitude of colours and shapes that the universe offers, with the infinite variety of animals and people on earth and in the sea as well as the dizzying bird population. Renate’s work has been featured in several exhibitions at major galleries and museums, including Galerie Lange & Pult, Auvernier and Galerie Michael Haas. Artist’s website: www.rabus.ovh
