Painter and printmaker Miranda Mott trained at the Byam Shaw School of Art and Royal Academy Schools in London. Miranda works in oil and watercolour, etching, wood engraving and lino. She also makes Artists Books: boxed sets of prints each with its own text or poem. Besides portraits and murals on commission, Miranda has made book illustrations for Faber, Michael Joseph, Macmillan, Penguin, Folio Society & Alfred Knopf. Miranda’s Winterreise linocut print, made in memory of her mother, the lieder singer Helga Mott, has been shown in several exhibitions and frequently features in concert programmes.
