Liz Mülleneisen was born in Bocholt in 1956. After studying graphic design in Münster and being a guest auditor for painting at HbK Berlin, postgraduate work placements in Tel Aviv and Cologne took me to Zierenberg. From here I work nationwide as a freelance graphic designer and artist on a variety of projects and exhibitions. I am a passionate graphic thinker, illustrator, embroiderer and designer. I like exploring new areas and studying faces and I love chance encounters. In this way my ideas and my work evolve. And almost always the particular topics become series. My works are silent pictures. They are portraits of people and nature. Language and music are linking elements. To me it is all about reduction to focus on the essential and at the same time to find an approach to the sensual existence of things.
