Originally a painter (Slade 1969-1973) I have made Artists Books for over 20 years, using woodcuts, collagraphs and drypoint techniques for codex format, concertina, and tunnel books, carousels and installations. Some are very large with woodcut texts. I often collaborate with poet James Simpson. My work is in individual and public collections across the UK, Europe, and USA, including V&A National Art Library, British Library, Tate, over 30 USA University Library special collections and Library of Congress and I show regularly at the Oxford Fine Press Fair. You can view Winterreise at the British Library on request – General Reference Collection HS.74/1851.
