Anna-Carola Münch (Scharlie) completed her art studies before training as a teacher in Frankfurt in 1988. During her studies she worked in a studio which produced museum replicas. Later she worked for the curator Dr. Stuffmann at the Städelsches Kunstinstitut and Städtische Galerie. She organized art exhibitions – which changed on a monthly basis – for the Gallus Theater in Frankfurt. Since 1997 she has taught art at various schools in Frankfurt. Since 2006 her work has been shown in several single and group exhibitions in and around her home city. During 2014/2015 she created 24 watercolours for the project ‘Winterreise’ of the ‘internationale Opernakademie’ and in 2019/2020 she was the stage designer for a children’s opera project (Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel), which included projections of watercolours and scenery.
